How Power Sharing Works

Power Sharing, also known as SWTCH Load Management (abbreviated as LLM for "Local Load Management"), refers to the configuration where multiple chargers are connected to the same electrical breaker.

As the popularity of electric vehicles continues to rise and new regulations mandate that multi-tenant buildings be equipped with "EV readiness," developers and building operators are confronted with the challenge of effectively managing this additional electrical load.

Load Management is the most effective strategy for addressing the increasing energy demand associated with electric vehicle (EV) charging, while simultaneously reducing the expenses related to necessary upgrades of electrical infrastructure.

SWTCH Load Management intelligently distributes energy to the chargers based on the real-time capacity available on the circuit, panel and/or building.
