Why do I need to sign the Network Services Order Form?
The Network Services Order Form needs to be signed to establish a formal agreement between the property and SWTCH. This agreement ensures that SWTCH is recognized as the service provider and that the property consents to our presence within the building. Our service allows drivers to use the property’s electricity in exchange for charging fees, and this agreement is necessary for us to provide that service.
What happens if I don’t sign the Network Services Order Form?
Without a signed Network Services Order Form, SWTCH cannot provide network services, meaning the chargers will not be connected to the SWTCH platform and will not be available for use.
How is the Order Form sent?
The form is sent via DocuSign to the Main point of contact listed on the EV Charger Onboarding Form. The subject line for the email will be “SWTCH Network Services Order Form.”
Who should sign the Network Services Order Form?
The Network Services Order Form should be signed by someone who is authorized to sign on behalf of the property. For example, property managers, strata council members, building management.
Can you redirect the form to someone else for signature?
Yes. If needed, please email golive@swtchenergy.com with the signatory’s full name and email address. The onboarding team will then re-direct the form to the requested party.
I have not received the form, what should I do?
After the EV Charger Onboarding Form is submitted, the onboarding team will inform you when they send out the Network Services Order Form. If you are unable to locate the form, please check your junk mail folder or search for the subject line “SWTCH Network Services Order Form.” If you are still unable to locate the Network Services Order Form, please reach out to golive@swtchenergy.com.
I have some concerns about the Terms of Service. Can they be modified?
We understand your interest in tailoring the terms to fit your needs. However, we are unable to make adjustments as these terms are standardized across all sites to ensure consistent service and compliance with legal requirements.. Rest assured that the terms have been designed in accordance with industry best practices. We are happy to provide clarification on any questions you may have about a specific section at golive@swtchenergy.com.
Drivers will be responsible for paying for the Network Management fee. Can you clarify this on the Network Services Order form?
Yes. Please email this request to golive@swtchenergy.com.
What does the monetary amount in the subscription services box mean?
The monetary amount reflects the annual cost of network management and/or cellular data plan for each charging port. This amount should have been communicated to you in advance by the SWTCH Sales team or your installation partner.
What is a cellular data plan?
A cellular data plan provides internet connectivity to the chargers, ensuring that they stay connected to the SWTCH network. It works similarly to a phone plan that provides data.
What does transaction fee mean?
The transaction fee is the amount SWTCH retains to cover the cost of our payment processor.
Are there any additional fees apart from the network management, cellular data plan, and transaction fees?
No, there are no additional fees beyond these charges.
What if I add more chargers later? Do I need to sign another form?
New chargers added to an existing site will be covered under the existing terms. When additional chargers are installed and activated on the SWTCH network, you will receive an email notification confirming the update and that the existing terms will automatically apply to the new chargers.
Can I terminate the agreement if I no longer want the service?
Yes, you may terminate your subscription by providing written notice of non-renewal at least sixty (60) days before the end of the current term.
