This guide will walk you through the simple steps to locate the hourly charging rate or hourly price for any SWTCH chargers using our SWTCH mobile app and the web app(charge.SWTCHenergy.com). Knowing the charging rate helps you estimate the cost of your charging session.
Method 1: Via the SWTCH Mobile App
This is the most convenient way to find the hourly rate while you're on the go or planning your charge.
Step 1: Open the App and Search the charger ID
- Launch the SWTCH mobile application on your smartphone or tablet.
- Use the search function (icon resembling a magnifying glass)
- Enter the specific Charger ID that you are interested in on the search field. This ID is usually a unique alphanumeric code associated with each charging station. You can find this ID on the physical charger itself.
Step 2: View Charger Details
- Once you enter the Charger ID and tap "Search" or a similar button, the app will display the specific details for that charger.
- Look for the "Price:" section within the charger's profile.
Method 2: Via the Web App

Step 1: Access the Web App and Search for a Charger
- Open your preferred web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
- Navigate to our web app's address charge.SWTCHenergy.com.
- Locate the search bar and enter the specific Charger ID of the station you want to check.

Tips for Finding the Hourly Rate:
- Double-Check the Charger ID: Ensure you have entered the correct Charger ID to get accurate information.
- Look for Clear Labels: The hourly rate is usually clearly labeled within the "Price:" section.
- Note Any Additional Fees: Be aware that some chargers might have additional fees (e.g., connection fees, loitering fees after charging is complete). These will typically be listed separately from the hourly rate.
- Real-Time Information: The pricing information displayed is generally up-to-date, but it's always a good practice to confirm before plugging in, especially if there have been recent announcements or changes.
By following these simple steps on our mobile app or the web app, you can easily locate the hourly charging rate for any of our EV chargers and make informed decisions about your charging needs. Happy charging!
