Charging Made Easy: Introducing SWTCH Guest Access

Charging your electric vehicle shouldn't require juggling multiple accounts or remembering yet another password. That's why SWTCH offers a convenient Guest Feature, designed for those times when you need a quick charge without the commitment of a full account. It's perfect for first-time users, travelers, or anyone who simply wants to power up with minimal fuss.

How SWTCH Guest Access Works

Our Guest Feature is all about simplicity, getting you charged and back on the road in no time. You can access this feature directly through the SWTCH mobile app or our SWTCH Web App at charge.swtchenergy.com:

1. Select "Guest Log In": On the SWTCH app or web app, simply select the "Log In as Guest" option.
2. Enter Your Email: You'll then be prompted to enter your email address. This is crucial, as it's where your charging session receipt will be sent.
3. Provide Payment Information: Next, you'll enter your credit card information directly for the payment of that specific charging session. Unlike our full account wallet system, there's no minimum top-up or auto-reload associated with guest payments. You only pay for the energy you use for that session.
4. Charge and Go: Once your details are entered and the session initiated via the app or web app, you can begin charging your vehicle. The cost of your charge will be directly billed to your provided credit card.

Important Note: Guest Fee

Please be aware that a $0.50 guest fee will be added to your charging session when using the Guest Feature. This fee helps cover the administrative costs associated with processing one-time guest transactions. For regular users or those looking to avoid this fee, we recommend creating a full SWTCH account, which offers additional benefits like a digital wallet for seamless payments and access to your charging history.
