Our mission is to make EV charging convenient and equitable. Here’s how you can help:
Move Your Vehicle When Charging Is Complete
The SWTCH app notifies you when your session ends. Please unplug and move your vehicle promptly so others can charge.
Note: Some stations may enforce idle fees if your vehicle remains plugged in after your charging session ends.
Only Park When Actively Charging
Charging spaces are for active sessions only. If you're not plugged in, please do not occupy the spot—even for a short time.
Charge Only What You Need
Be considerate during high-demand periods. Avoid occupying the charger for longer than necessary, especially once your battery is sufficiently charged.
Follow Site-Specific Rules
Charging policies may vary by location. Always follow posted signage, time limits, or rules established by your property or facility manager.
Respect the Queue
Whether it’s a physical line, sign-in sheet, or informal system, always wait your turn. Jumping the queue disrupts the experience for everyone.
Do Not Unplug Other Vehicles
Unless local rules clearly allow it (e.g., after charging is complete), never unplug another EV without the driver’s permission.
Do Not Block Chargers After Charging
Once your session is over, please relocate your vehicle. Even if you're nearby or planning to return soon, blocking access prevents others from charging.
At SWTCH, we believe in a smart, fair, and connected EV charging experience. As more drivers make the switch to electric, your cooperation helps build a respectful and sustainable EV community.
Thank you for being part of the SWTCH network.
