Adding a Payment Method

Adding a payment method is easy.  You can do it using your mobile browser or using the SWTCH mobile app.

When using your mobile browser

When adding payment details using your browser, you will do the following:

1. On your mobile browser, go to the SWTCH website https://charge.swtchenergy.com/

2. For first-time users, you need to sign up for an account.

3. Once logged in, you need to enter the charger ID and then click on the magnifying glass.

4. After you click on search, you will be directed to fill out the following which will include your payment details.

5. Save details.

6. You will be redirected to another page which will prompt you to click "start charger".

When using the Mobile app

1. Once logged in to you SWTCH account. Click on the wallet icon at the bottom right of the screen.

2. Click "Add Payment Method" button and add your payment info.

3. Hit submit after entering all the details.

You can also add a payment method by doing the following:

1. Enter the charger ID, then click search.

2. Click "Add details to start".

3. Fill out your car details, then click next.

4. You will then be prompted to Add your Payment method.  Once done, click submit.

5. After you click submit, you will be directed to a different page.  You will be prompted to click start charger.
