Resetting your SWTCH password

Forgetting your password can be a frustrating experience. Resetting your SWTCH account password is a straightforward process.

Access the SWTCH Login Page. Navigate the SWTCH login page using your mobile app or web app. You can easily find this page by typing " https://charge.swtchenergy.com/en" into your search engine and click login.

NOTE: If you signed up using your Apple or Google account then your SWTCH password is the same as your Apple or Google account. Requesting a password reset will not work for accounts signed up using Google or Apple.

If you have multiple Google or Apple accounts, please make sure you are using the correct account that is logged in.  

Click on "Don’t remember your password" Once you're on the login page, locate the "Don’t remember your password" link. This link is usually positioned below the login form. Click on this link to initiate the password reset process.

Enter Your Email Address. After clicking on "Don’t remember your password" you'll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your SWTCH account. Make sure to input the correct email address to ensure that the password reset instructions are sent to the right inbox.

Check your Email Inbox. Once you've entered your email address, click on "SEND EMAIL” We will then send an email to the address you provided with further instructions on how to reset your password. It may take a few moments for the email to arrive, so be patient.

Follow the instructions in the Email. Open the email from SWTCH titled something like "Reset your password " or similar. Within the email, you'll typically find a link that will direct you to a page where you can reset your password. Click on this link to proceed.

Set a New Password. After clicking on the link provided in the email, you'll be taken to a password reset page on the SWTCH website. Here, you'll have the opportunity to create a new password for your account. Choose a strong password that includes a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters to enhance security.
